Homework has been a thing for a long time now as its affected many people's lives in good ways and bad ways. Homework has been with us since 1905 and people have started to grow different opinions on this topic of whether homework should rot or should teachers enforce it more. I don't personally have a preference on the topic but I know most of the people who are against homework are students and the people who usually enforce homework are teachers and parents. But there is one quick thing i want to talk about homework, the idea of homework is helpful but the way some people use it is wack. All homework is is review of what we learned in class, I rather have a study guide to learn new things to prep for the test. There are many good things and bad things about homework and i'm here to talk about that

As there are problems with homework there are also benefits to doing homework like as the following, homework can help you remember what you learned and help you prepare for and upcoming test as homework usually has contents of the test. Another pro is parents can get involved, if your doing homework you can easily go up to your parents and ask for help, personally I cannot do this as my parents expectation is for me to do my work with no help needed, and they are usually working. Homework can also keep you doing something because after school sometimes people have nothing to do, so they can free their boredom and do homework.

Homework can help you in many different ways and many different subjects but nothing's perfect, everything has some cons to it. Yes homework can benefit your learning but it can also lower yourself. What I mean is if your stuck on a question, you have no teacher to boost you up and i can't ask my parents to help me because i'm expected to be able to finish all the work by myself. Homework also should be more about studying and less review. Most of the things that has helped me in the past are study guides and homework only helps a tiny bit. Also homework could be a part of overwork, you might have had a tough day at school and you just want to go to sleep. But you remeber you have homework, you might simply just fall asleep during your homework.

As the pros/cons stated in the past paragraphs, we can infer that homework has some good and some bad, nothing is meant to be perfect. But more people are against homework than with it, if we could change the aspect of ¨homework¨ and make it more of a study guide would be much more useful. But still homework in its own way is useful
